Canco Park receives recognition as a Wildlife Habitat with the Audubon Society

Canco Park Conservancy President, Dawn Giambalvo and Secretary, Irene Stamos are Presented with a sign from the Bergen County Audubon Society signifying Canco Park is a Certified Wildlife Garden.


If you plant it they will come


We are pleased to share Canco Park is a Certified Wildlife Garden. We've been working hard restoring the planting beds of Canco Park to bird, bee and butterfly friendly native plantings. Planting chemical free native plants is the key to protecting our fragile ecosystem.

Located only a half mile from the Hackensack River, we are in the flight path of many migrating birds.
